I swear not to forget what happened last night!

Dear hostel friends who were with me yesterday,
I honestly thank you from the bottom of my heart. I silently thanked God when we've returned to our hostel later that night for giving me such beautiful friends here. Now, I simply understand what TRUE friends really mean. We don't have to share secrets or do crazy things together to proof that statement but just by being there for me just when I was unwell, was more than enough. You all stayed on, although I have asked you to leave earlier. This is simply... beyond words. I was touched. THANKS!

Readers, this was what happened yesterday...

I woke up late morning, around 11am lazing around my house. I told myself, a few more hours and I'll be off to hostel again. I bade Granny, brushed my teeth and set for breakfast and I went up to my room again to check my mails and have a few bouts in Facebook. I chattered all the way to 2pm which later Granny cooked lunch for me and I ate it, but it wasn't enough. It was too less! Granny said, "It's OK. Just make sure that you eat once you're in KL," and I didn't wanna tire her by cooking more for me too. And so I resumed my Facebook all the way till 3pm. I took my bath and got ready for a take-off.

I then reached KL with a growling stomach, at 7pm that I didn't quite bother to tame just yet. Then all of us headed to Wangsa Maju for dinner. Things got worse from this point of time. I started becoming dizzy and whatever I ate gushed out after a few minutes. I went white, really white. I took more than 4 bouts in the toilet just to vomit. I really felt uncomfortable and I didn't quite like the fact that my friends were still waiting for me. I told one of them through SMS, "If you wanna leave, go ahead. Don't wait for me," and they did went off when I came out of the toilet...

I then walked to the bus station and I heard one of my friends running after me, "ALEX!!! Where are you going? You don't have to worry. We won't leave you behind there like that, OK?" So, I went to clinic with all of them there waiting for me. Guess what? The doctor checked my blood pressure and it was only 90/60. HELL that was scary. What happened next was she gave me a file of medicine (10 tablets) for RM20. It was indeed expensive for me! Once I got back from dinner, I puked again before reaching hostel, thus giving a look that I was drunk. HAHA!!!

As I got back here, I felt a lot better. I felt even better after taking my medicine and had a piece of bread and a can of 100+ (as advised by doctor). Then as I realize I could walk, I resumed on washing my clothes and continued talking with my friends all the way till 1am. I was too tired that I could not fall asleep but I slept thenceforth, until I was late for today's dance class.

Aural Class Review and another sub-story

Today, I woke up rather groggily for aural class at 9am and prepared myself for it and went for class at 10am. The teacher was good and rather funny too. For now, Grade 2 is a little good on my side. It is easy for the moment. 3 more lessons to go. As for sight reading, I found the problem, at last. It was not the notes, but the tempo that gives me problem. I am prepared to fail this segment. Hope the other sections help me!

Here comes another sub-story. I've to delete one of my many things to do before I die - reunion dinner. Mom said that she didn't see the need for it, although I'd retorted by saying I saw the need of it. Well, she's my Mom. I should respect her and not impose anything anymore.

Now I've come to full realization that divorce DO really kill the children, altogether with their wishes and dreams. Although things seem perfectly normal (like in my case, that is. I am the best living example for you readers); no I should say things ARE normal. There still is a breach somewhere in between. However, I am not really hurt because, maybe I have made my resolution to live my life to the fullest, or I am more matured compared to any others in my age, for things like this? Let God answer for I have yet to know the answer myself.

I am nobody but a body with a fantastic soul.
~AdelWoo

As an advice, I really hope people who read my blog would think a lot of times before marrying your loved ones. Don't ever let your children suffer from what you did wrong in the past. They are innocent little beings. This just doesn't worth the pain in their hearts. Future husbands and wifes, please. Do think twice (or more).

Bliss in Disguise

After yesterday's horrible rants to the neighbours, I finally see changes. They no longer park the way they used to park anymore. Should this be good, in a way?

Rossiniana No. 1

If I had courage enough to ask my guitar tutor, this is what I would say to him:

Original Cover of Part 1 of Giuliani's Le Rossiniane
Dear Mr. William,
I know that you're a very good guitar teacher and thanks to you, I've unlocked many possibilities which once I thought as impossibilities. Yes, I do mean that Sounds of Bells. I am a mere grade 2 student and you challenged me with this grade 7 piece (as according to my friend who played this piece for his grade 7 exam), and I hope I didn't disappoint you. Right now, I just hope that you can guide me through this fantastic piece of 6 themes in Rossiniana No. 1. I'm very happy if I can even finish the first part - Introduzione in E minor. I know very well you might have to take depressants before teaching me but yeah... I hope you can teach me this piece. I promise you that I'll remember this for the rest of my life (if at all I am not going to knock my head somewhere and lose my memory). Thank you.

Supplicanti parce, Deus.

A part of my list of what-should-not-be-screwed

I should NOT do the following:
...
Break promise(s) [SCREWED]
Hurt people [SCREWED]
Disappoint friends [SCREWED]
Pissed them off [SCREWED]
Forget medication [SCREWED]
Mentally paranoid [SCREWED]
...

There are too many things that I've screwed up in these few months, between me and my friends, and between me and myself. Though my friends forgive me at the end of the day (and I thank them really sincerely that no words could express my gratitude), I feel that I'm succumbing BACK into who I was previously: The pretty much screwed up kid, fighting for lost causes, being too loud and empty like... "an empty vial", self-righteous and flamboyant _ _ _ (I let you fill in all other adjectives).

My mind isn't really thinking straight lately. I've become too much of a paranoid, misreading almost everything that's set as what I should perceive it as. I always contradict myself too: Should I, shouldn't I? All these things are recurring and it is out of control.

OK. I am going to see my school counselor again in Monday, regardless of anything. PERIOD! I am going to meet him first thing when I step into the school compound, then I meet up Miss Z, the lady I miss so much after graduation night! Right after these two occasions, I will continue doing my school project. Secrecy much, eh?
***
Today Mom and Sis visited me. I was happy, of course. (However, I could see that Mom somehow knows I am different. Don't lie, Mom. I saw your eyes.) Then we had our breakfast in Kensington (I drove, Mom treated). I've ordered Irish Whiskey Coffee and Beef Steak. It was really nice, I'd say. Sadly, my nose was blocked and I still couldn't really taste the food like before. We got back home around 12.30pm and I was about to get ready for work and finally... I felt my body was begging for me to rest. I was doing my mental debate between myself and I and finally I called my employer and said I couldn't go to work today. At 2.30pm, Mom brought me to my doctor and he said I am having pharyngitis. Doctor said:
"[...]I see everything is OK. Your body temperature is fine[...] It's just your sinus giving you problems. Your sinus tissues are much inflamed now but I will ask my nurse to give you some drops to shrink the tissues[...] If at all you have any hearing problems[...] You will know when you notice some differences in your hearing[...] So please see me again and I will have to treat you more aggressively because at that state your sinusitis is getting more serious[...]" Then I made myself a mental note: remember to take my medicine regularly!

So folks, this is the series of "The Screwed Up Life of Blogger of 'A Vial; Kyrie Eleison'" Please do not forget to tune in to www.emptyemptyme93.blogspot.com next time (I dunno when will I update my blog after this) for more entertainment. Good bye.

Crisis

Guitar strings are becoming... old, sounds are no longer so clear.
Piggy bank holds no more penny.
New year is coming.
Allowance is not arriving yet.
Guitar exam fee deadline is coming too.

I'm broke and dead. Would I have to ask dad to pay for my guitar fee? Should I ask him? No, I don't think I should.

Exam fee!

GOOD HEAVENS! I have checked with my teacher, the exam fee is RM268 (excluding aural, scale book and exam book yet!). Bad news, I have to pay up latest by 17/1/2011. I now declare Alexander Ooi is NOT going to spend any more money until he has finished paying for his examination. Damn it! Lucky thing that all 3 pieces I am about to learn is pretty easy! I was relieved for a moment!

I really hope so much that I will get hired in Loi&Co. I got their reply today, asking about:
"Have you just completed your SPM? Have you taken any taxation or audit papers before?"

I answered honestly with 2 long paragraphs of essay which I honestly hope it will not bore them much. You see, 2 questions, 2 paragraphs. Simple mathematics!

If I really get hired, I'd be Malaysian's youngest and luckiest accountant wannabe that has ever lived! PLEASE let this be good!

Wonders

I really wonder can I do it.
Do what?
Guitar examination next year March.

Though it's only Grade 2. I didn't dare to tell my grandmother about how much I have to pay and stuffs. LUCKY me, I am finding job in accounting firms in Oakland Commerce Square! I really hope I can go to Loi&Co to gain some experience. I sent my CV to them via email already last night (twice! I accidentally hit the SEND button when my CV was not finalized by Dad. Then on the second mail, I apologized to them saying it was not rectified yet. I hope it won't give any bad impressions to my employer).

I am going to use this money I am earning, together with my monthly allowance to pay for my guitar fees, exam fees and perhaps, dance class? The dance class thing is just a plan.

This is it:
After guitar exam grade 2, I plan to take dance class and guitar class on alternate months. I hope my guitar academy principal allows this, although he is a nice man, we never knew what future holds for us, would we?

So, back to my guitar examination doubts... Maybe I should continue reading bible to (re)gain faith in God. My skills are still honestly crappy because my speed and accuracy is really really poor when it comes to fast-tempi pieces. If at all I get a terribly fast piece with many chromatic signs (sharps and flats) in any of my 3 exam pieces. I'm fucked by life, again. Not forgetting scales and aural. And Theory of Music, I have yet to take. I have to take TOM up to Grade 5 to continue my guitar practical all the way up to where I want. Well, I guess I'll worry about that later.

A stern warning to people who tries to discourage me (I think Mom would be on top of the list):
Don't you even think of it. I will worry about it myself and I know where to stop. I know I have to take care of my lodging, food, fuel and many other stuffs. But you know what? I will manage it just as how you have managed it so far as a parent. I'll gain knowledge from you when the time comes. Trust me. I can.

I do believe in miracle as it is a part of God's wonderful work!

HOLY EPIC!

1. Dad drove me to school. I heard Overture to the Light Calvary by Von Suppe. I was air-orchestrating throughout the whole overture. The aura was so awe-inspiring! IF any of you ever loved classical pieces, I recommend you to hear this piece as a kick-start. Give yourself 10 minutes, close your eyes and enjoy the music.

2. In school, the counselor said, "Alright, all these students are required to go to the lecture room as soon as the assembly ends as the principal would wish to meet all of you. For those who gets excellent results for trials this time." After a long while, then my name was called. I was surprised why I was not called earlier, as I got 8th in form. But Aruna told us that she saw one of our teachers having the same list. It seemed that they sort us out according to number of Distinctions we have, A+.

3. In the lecture room, our principal was talking with a very different tone which I just had to hear all his words. His main advise to all 45 of us was, "Don't lose focus" and he used the analogy of a marathon runner. At intervals, Francine and I gazed at each other and whispered things like, "I can't believe we are already here, in the final lap!"
"I feel like crying now," thanks to our principal's speech which was really heart-touching
There was one part he said about our batch is his batch that follows him right till the end. He came to the school in 2005, we came to the school in 2006. Now, 2010 is our last year and March 2011 would be his retirement. That was pretty sad and proud as well. I hope he'll be fine with it, although it's all fated.

At the end of the session, we shook hands with the principal and the senior assistant of academics and I think I was the only one who hugged both of them.

4. Gloria finally confronted in me about our long-held misunderstanding and I found out she was right about something, "That's true that you can have so many close friends but it's hard to find true friends." Now THAT was something I have to applaud on. She was right. All these while, I was being close to so many people (or would be rather close, I suppose?) and I didn't feel much appreciated as compared to my very few true friends. Regardless of anything, I would turn back to these true friends and tell them almost everything. Instead of shutting it up and move on which I do that to my close friends. "Fighting is normal. That happens all the time. It can't be avoided," Gloria added.

5. I've noticed that after Gloria is no longer with her previous gang, she is hell of a better person. It was so easy talking to her now compared to her old self. That's her problem, she gets carried away easily. My problem is I don't care what others think of me. That's why I am normally myself, regardless of how close that entity is to me. I'm still with the childish, cheerful, bitchy attitude wherever you see me in the streets. Just another thing that Gloria told me of, her motto, if you must. "If you can't bear the worst of me, you can't deserve the best of me." And my true friends have bore with me and have deserved from me too. I'm proud to tell that I am very grateful to have them, uber alles!

7. Dad fetched me back. While I was on the way to meet him, I was wet. I got home with a holy wet body. It's been long since I've done that. I missed the days.

8. My newborn niece is finally one month old. Sadly, I forgot to bring my camera to her place of this "full moon celebration" for babies, so far that I know of. I pretty much think it's a Malaysian culture. Is it? Well, the Malays (and Indians?) have it too.

9. It's 4 in the morning right now and I am not able to sleep.

How epic could this day be compared to my lame days of my seventeen breathing years of my life? MAN I just wish I could hit the rewind button and try perfecting every single flaw in this 24-hour time frame.

Suspected?

Doctor: Well from the symptoms you've mentioned, this could be suspected dengue. It's ok, if you see your condition isn't any better by next week, come back here and we'll do some blood test to verify.

Well, actually even if he didn't say that, I pretty much know that it could possibly be dengue. My fever has never lasted more than 2 days. Now, I'm thinking far again. One possibility of death before this was bronchitis and now dengue. Both of these are very much better than any other scary ways to die. Benjamin asked me before, "Are you afraid to die?" I said, "Nope, I am only afraid of the way I die." Dengue for me, is considered ok. I'm pretty much optimistic here. Mom, don't worry. I surely would try to continue living, if God speeds.

After Biology test tomorrow, I would have to stay back tomorrow for an hour, to discuss a surprise for someone important to our class. After that, it depends if I feel terrible, I'd have to drive to General Hospital and if not, I can go to my Accounting class. Well, let's hope for the best then.

PS: Miss Zalilah's spirit has uplifted me today to go to school. She's always sick and yet so dedicated and because of her, I was present for English and Add Math. Thanks teacher!

A flush

Yes, I would say I've got a flush, in poker. If my trial examination is based on poker cards. Thanks to all teachers who'd bore with my madness in class and funny questions which sometimes make them go blank first... And thanks for their blessings too. Not to forget, my friends who'd been bearing with me like HELL with my five-year-old attitude in class and explaining to me certain things I was not sure at all. I hope they get good results for the real big huge enormous exam too!

Physics especially. I've never gotten anywhere beyond 70 last year until Pn. Jamilah stumbled in my life this year. To all other teachers, thanks. I didn't dare to thank them face-to-face because I am sure I will cry by doing so. They've such huge impacts in my life this year. I think I probably will be lost if they were not who they were!

History on the other hand, I have to thank 3 entities.
1. Charlene for asking me to try answering paper 2 although I didn't know a single fuck. Surprisingly, I managed to get 72/100 for that paper and 75% as grand total. Without her, I would've gone out of the hall that afternoon.

2. God for opening my pea-sized brain to hear my teacher's voice in my head to answer the questions. It was all based on her voice and a little of my friends' voices.

3. Pn. Vimala of course! I heard her voice explaining to me what are those all about, although not fully... I was glad I heard her voice. Although later that afternoon I heard very weird noises (probably due to the heavy rain that time) talking loudly. It was as hectic as flight of the bumblebee, only this is not on a regular tempo.

Yesterday I've found another verse in the bible saying about the power of believing in something, or specifically, have faith in God, which has been proven true in my case. Last time, I've read it in Matthew. Now, Mark said the same thing too.
Mark 11:22-24
"Have faith in God," Jesus answered. "I tell you the truth, if anyone says to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours."

Yes people, although I am a Taoist (which my History teacher has proven my point that it isn't even a religion, but a belief which made me shouted at her: Yes teacher! I agree to it!!, when she was explaining it to Pn. Asriah) it doesn't mean I can't read other books, right?

Tao Te Ching 71:1
Knowing ignorance is strength,
Ignoring knowledge is sickness.

OK, readers. Pardon me for being over-religious. I am not being a Pharisee. PLEASE!
-k-

PS: Aruna told me yesterday that there was a girl whom I met in the Sunway Scholarship bitched about me in a tuition where Aruna was there as well. She said to her friend and Aruna over-heard, "Ooi is very arrogant and acts as though he knows everything. He speaks English with slang too!"

To hell I care about her. I don't speak to her anyway. In fact, I don't even know who she is. Let her keep grudges in herself and I, stay contented without caring of those words.

PSS: If you'd forgotten, -k- means end in Morse code.

Anxious!!!

I am VERY anxious for tomorrow night. I am scared that I will get "pitchy" tomorrow towards the end of Breakaway. Well, yeah. I am singing that song, as a background singer. Ha, ha. Vincy is our band's lead singer.

No, I shouldn't say this. Every one of us is super important in this matter - in this situation as critical as such!

WAIT, GUYS! I forgot something.

I forgot to tell you what in the name of charity night happened...
First, my friend was supposed to have this band. The whole story started from there.
Then, out of the blue we've got a news on Wednesday morning during meeting that this kid's band is not going up on stage to perform. Well, yeah. Due to some private things which I am not suppose to say it out here. It's bad to bitch about my own friends, even IF I hated them. So during the meeting, Tommy, Sebastian, Vincy and I (I am not making out names. They are their names - nicknames) made a mini discussion before we proceeded on finding sponsors in Seremban 2. Guys, seriously... That was one humiliating story which I don't wish to unravel here. It was just humiliating.
-----------------------------------------------------
Tommy: So how?
Me: I dunno. We form our own band?
Vincy: No. Wait. Let's just ask him first whether his band is going up or not. We're back-up, after all.
Me: Then you call and ask him?
[A very irritating scene had happened and we came to our conclusion moments after that]
Tommy: So, 3 of us?
Me: Wait. Isn't it better if we ask Sebastian to strum while you pluck? I wanna be the background singer. Is it OK?
Tommy: Er... OK. Fine then.
-----------------------------------------------------
So that was a very brief history on how we formed this band, which we ourselves didn't have time to think of our name.

I just hope that nothing THAT bad will come happen. It is going to be a big BOO if I sing out of pitch. You know, it's hard to maintain as alto sometimes, even though I am generally alto. Never mind, I am beginning to talk cock and bull right, in the name of over-anxiety.

Tommy pointed out a good point: "I am not helping him. I am just helping the night only."

This is a very motivating e-mail by Mum later this afternoon, I suppose.

"In respect of the band presentation – just let your hair down and enjoy it. Remember the Aesop’s Fable about the man & his son sending the donkey to the market place. Moral of the story is that you can’t please everybody – so you just carry on with the assignment handed to you BUT you might as well enjoy while doing it…. It’ll do a lot of wonders when you enjoy yourself."

Fear

I am really scared right now, people. I'm scared that I will flunk for trials which is 2 months away. I... just do not want anything bad anymore. I am fed up for all those results, seriously. This morning, I have gotten my Chemistry papers 1 and 2 back. Francine, if you read this... I am not comparing my marks with anyone. It is just I am not satisfied of what I got this time. Thanks to my overconfidence!

Chemistry 1: 40/50 (this I am satisfied)
Chemistry 2: 69/100 (I lost marks on Section B and C which carry 40 marks, I think)

I will get good results unexpectedly for lighter sections and usually screw things up on the heavy ones. Sigh, I am really scared I will not get what I want. Mum, sorry, I am not trying to say you are not proud of me. I know you and Dad are. I can sense that, finally! I am just feeling insecure, all of a sudden.

Perhaps Louisa is right after all... I'm a perfectionist. But I can't help it, can I? So, right now I am just hoping to get minimum of 31/50 for my practical paper in order to get a minimum score of A- which is 70%.

"Aim for the moon, if you missed it you will still be among the stars."
-Lydia Hannah, my friend.

PS: Accounting Principles is killing me softly with it's laws in a new important topic (Clubs) teacher has taught. I will just try my best to grab it by the end of the holidays. Luckily, my friends have invited me to go out for:
5/5/2010 Adeline's late grandfather's mass (amen and peace be upon him)
16/5/2010 Movie with Keevin, Charu and Gloria.
18/5/2010 RCS Charity Night (my last day of me being active in co-curricular activities)
26/5/2010 Scout's 11th Annual Campfire (will be going under RCS)
Someday on the second week - Jogging with Aruna

This is my pre-plan for the holiday. I hope I will be utilizing it, instead of lazing around. Today, after my Accounts teacher bid us goodbye, she wished us "HAPPY HOLIDAYS" in her sarcastic manner, saying that there will be no holidays for us, the fifth formers. Which I really agree.

All right, till then, au revoir.

For you people

First of all, let me just list down these names:
1. Lydia
2. Ivy Foxx
3. Mum
4. Francine
5. Gopinath
6. Adeline Naomi
7. Adeline Woo
And I think that's all?

I really love you guys so much for helping me with this dilemma, which I dunno what has gotten into me. I grow depressive really fast and I start to doubt am I okay, myself too. These few days, I feel that this world was dark and empty. I am a loner. I am not loved.
I don't know what went wrong, like seriously!

I'm also sorry for making so many of you worried about me. To be honest, I am not fine. Mainly, this is because of my exam but I am feeling totally blessed as it is FINALLY ending next week! I've been waiting for that moment since my first paper started.

Secondly, which I think this is the actual real reason... I sense that Granny doesn't really understand me anymore OR perhaps, it is me who's going further from her. Maybe it is because the tide of change or something else? I wouldn't know.

I dunno how would I say it. She seems to be throwing tantrums (and I do too) and shouts at me for some reasons. Maybe it was once again, my misunderstanding and intolerance towards her. I really need a counselor, but I doubt I will have time for it. Exam!!!

Things've changed. Adeline Naomi told me this last month: Ooi, it is 2010. Last year was 2009. Everything's not the same anymore!

But for me, I seriously do not know what has changed and what has not. I could be really happy at a moment and then, I will just go down swingy... I'm worried about myself as much as you're worried about me, seriously. This is not me. I am not who I am now.

SOMETHING IS REALLY WRONG IN MY CPU

Every time when you're asking how am I doing, I would say that I am fine for that moment. That's because I don't know what I feel. I feel that the older I am, the further I am with my true self. I think I've lost touch with this boy with such characters (I think):

Happy-go-lucky
Hard-core fighter
"Multi-talented"
Loud
Radical
Brave

I can't find it anymore. I think, this time. I am really lost for the moment. GAHH! I'm insane again. OK, sleeping time. Good night. Francine, I think I will need you again, on Monday perhaps.

PS: I chose Francine because she goes on the same bus with me, I know her for 11 years and we know what each other are thinking on the same issue. So, maybe in the bus, she can come up with something soothing for my soul because there is no time to talk about this at all in school: EXAM!!!

I told a friend of mine yesterday, one of the reasons why I write blog:
"Sometimes, we are so busy that we do not have time to listen to each other but we surely have time to read about each other."

Clashies

Tomorrow, tomorrow and tomorrow;
Creeps from this petty face from day to day...

I guess that Shakespeare was wrong. My time for everything doesn't seem to be enough. I went red in History class today when Tan was complaining so much about the homework that teacher gave us: Workbook from page 20 to 29 and do all 3 essays. Next week pass up. He was complaining the most where I just feel like slapping his face, literally! He doesn't stay back everyday, he goes for tuitions and he has the time allocation that I do not have, YET he made the most noise. Damn it.

Anyway, today we celebrated Aruna's 17th birthday. Thanks to Louisa for bringing her out of the class, so that we could prepare the surprise. Awesome cake design, eh? Thanks to Adeline's aunty. She designed it for her.

Apart from that, Benjamin and Zura were forced to take part in high jump competition today, after school hours. "Acara Sebelum Hari Sukan" it seemed. I really pity them. They didn't have any foundation and they were forced to join. In the end, they were eliminated in the first round.
Pictures taken on the occasion
A friend of mine, I managed to take this nice picture after convincing him.

OK, let's come to the MAIN topic: Clash!
Let's see, I have choral speaking practice from 8am-11am as well as PBSM Enrolment Day's rehearsal from 8am-12pm. I will just go for my rehearsal and finally get back to my members. During our choral speaking practice today, I've asked for some comments from Mr. Vijayan. He said that we were good enough for the time-being since today was the 3rd day of practice. I still have many weaknesses which I need to repair tonight, regardless of anything.

I have to go now. Let's just hope the best for tomorrow, eh?

Last day of my sweet 16

My close friends (Gloria, Keevin, Charu) and I went to Jusco to watch Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief but quite a lot of crappy things had happened then...

1. The early bird tickets (11.20am) were fully redeemed and THEN we decided to buy 1.45pm show called The Wolfman.

2. 1.45pm stroke and all of us managed to slip in to the cinema, yeah. We lied that we were all 18 years old and waiting for our SPM results.

3. Before we could even warm our chairs in the theater, the employee called us out for a moment. He said someone said that we all were underage. OK, busted! That dude was Keevin's supposed foe or some sort like that; that was what Keevin said. The 3 of them cleared things up with him after that, while I was enjoying my Starbucks there. After such long time, I don't find it wrong for me to try a tall cup of caramel macchiato, right?

4. Charu was the heroine, debating about the issue with the employee, and then the employee took us to see his manager! So, what?! Even though it was clearly enough that it was OUR fault, for going in at the first place. We lost, but we managed to get refund. We were practically dumbstruck over Charu's other side. Gosh, I admit... Even she is like nothing like me when I got angry, but seriously. She was scary and daring to raised her voice to the people elder than us, probably by a generation??

5. We wanted to watch 4pm's Lightning Thief but it was fully booked by the time we wanted it. Crap!

6. We went strolling around in Jusco from 11am till 6pm without watching any movie.

Conclusion:
1. I spent RM60 on food. I've never spent and ate as much as that before that I had to skip dinner at home.
2. Apart from the mess Keevin's foe created, it was a nice outing. We cam-whored so many times there.
3. That's the end of my sweet 16 life. 4 hours, and I will see the world in a more matured point of view, I think...

PS: My friends told me that I've changed a lot. Did I?

EDIT: 11.37pm, 16th February 2010

Did my parents forget that I was born on the 17th February? Well perhaps they know it's in February, but the date? All I want is NOT bouquet of roses or expensive things. I just want them to be with me. I know it's stupid to ask for this because Dad's in London and Mum's in Ipoh. Now, for every Father's and Mother's day, I would have a bead of tear in my eye-dams. I was asking God silently, "why?"

I really wished that I could go back to 1995, when I was two.

A year before the incident which had made me who I am right now. I wish I could hold my parents hands and walk with them as before. I mean I can hold Granny's hands as a substitute but... the feelings are never the same. Of course Granny loves me, but there are at times where I want to celebrate my birthday (singular noun) with the 3 of them. I know I'm actually hoping against hope.

I wish... I wish... there is miracle.

PS: Keevin and I discovered that the dates and days repeat themselves every seventeen years. Perhaps, the number 17 itself carries a meaning?

Canon in D, on C

Just when I thought that canon in C tuned up to D major is easier than dropped D tuning...

The quarter notes come in my guitar tabs and it's... really difficult to practice on it. The first few bars which I thought was difficult is simply NOTHING to me now, compared to the bars after the first page!!

I can't use a metronome as the ticking sound disrupts me even more. However, I ain't giving up. Since there are 4 students who can memorize the whole piece by heart (that was what my tutor told me: I've been teaching this piece for 5 years and only 4 students can memorize the whole piece. The middle part is really nice!) Then, after I am done with this piece, I will prove to my uncles that I can as well pluck, instead of strum nonchalantly. The chance will come! I believe in it.

Don't worry mum, I'm a good juggler of Time.

PS: I am not day-dreaming or showing off because some have belittled me before, but I am just proving to people that I can do the things I want to do. Determination is the key to success! I wish I have such courage for my Additional Mathematics and Physics!!!

One week

That period is a little too much for me and I am uber alles glad that 5 days of my last first week of school has ended! I've finished all my homework yesterday and today (and tomorrow) I would have time to do something else. How nice...

Yesterday was the best that had ever happened in form 5 history in my class - we were celebrating the January babies birthdays: Hizairi, Yu-Xuan, Poghilan and Hamsalekkha. What a waste that I did not bring my camera!!!

The good thing that Francine told me yesterday was:
"We're having Secret Recipe's for February."

ARUNA!!!! WE CAN HAVE SECRET RECIPE FOR OUR BIRTH-MONTH!!! Hoorah!!

Meh, I shouldn't expect too much. I'll probably just go with the flow as my family members used to say to me.

Friends and family, stay with me. I have this final year and the 11 years of heavy bags, scoldings, laughings, cryings and most importantly - the whole INPUT will come to an end - my 'O level'. Please just support me. I need all of you.
