I AM FINALLY H-O-M-E (again)

Eh... this post actually has nothing to do with the previous one alright. Not a chronology to follow, not a trilogy to be read. It is just... another blog post. I remembered reading an e-mail forwarded to me in my MSN account and these few words really captivated me.
"You can buy a HOUSE,
but not a HOME."
No matter how great a place is, I still love my own home. If you realize, Mum, I didn't refer to Ipoh or anywhere else as my home because the place here is my home, though it is a little bit "dipped in time" if you could understand me?
I woke up today (in Ipoh) at 9.36am and did whatever necessary there before heading back home. The best thing was that
I got the chance to play with baby Bin. He started to recognise me already and he is willing to let me carry him in my arms! (Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata Number 1, please?)
This time around during the trip, I had a splendid outing with everyone there. From the food till the scenery. It all rocked! I did most of the activity on the second last day.
A visit to Kellie's castle finally. I was waiting for this chance long ago, since I came across this name. The ruins are very special but we didn't venture much because Granny and Mum were both tired after eating in Ristorante de Italiano: Italia Mia. One word to describe the food: WONDERFUL. Another "bad chi" factor that chased me out of the castle was that it was about to rain that time!
Too bad. Or less, I would have ventured 100% of the castle. It sure will take me some time, though...
One-word summary of the whole trip:Heartwarming
One sentence to extend my gratitude to them:Thanks for the memories

My Life of Agains

Hello people around the world! It's me (again). Left my home unattended (again) In Ipoh (again) for the so-called family reunion (again). All these things are rather repetitive already. I'm serious. This morning, we all had breakfast in a normal restaurant but the food there are A-B-N-O-R-M-A-L! The food tasted like... heaven! (the sound effect please?) Very delicious! Though they are only 'lau shu fen' with the soup - it STILL rocked!!!!!!!

>>>FAST FORWARD>>> (again!)

Noon
Went out with Aunt Jenny, Mum and granny to Parkson to only
a) Buy my short pants for volleyball practice.
b) Buy my plastic wrapper to wrap my novel and a text book.

Yen (my sister. DUH!) didn't tag along because she said it's boring in there. You will know why later on this post.

We browsed through the lots but the prices there are too expensive for a shortie. So, they decided to buy it in the morning market tomorrow. Then, I got attracted to so many things (mainly clothes and albums) and I dragged my time there and we reached here around 4.20pm. That took me 2 hours in there. On the way back, Aunt Jenny said;

"Sigh. Now I know why Yen said it is boring to come here."

So then, we had our (very heavy) teatime and finished it around 5pm. I jogged at 5.30pm till 6.00pm and there we go again. DINNER AT 6.05pm!!! At least, it is a good chance for me to finally gain my weight up to 50kg (hopefully more!!!). Just now, as I finished CHAPTER 8 of the analysis, I was sitting beside the Mahjong table (again) and looking at those tiles (again). After Brother Kin (another one of my cousins) came out of his room (H-E-R-E), I finally decided to waste my time writing this post and chat with some fellow MSN's.

NIGHTMARE(S)

Now don't try to teach me that I should sleep. I know it's 1.30am and I have to go to Ipoh on a bus at 9.30am, wake up at 7.30am. I know. I just want to inform all of you that I will not be around for this week (in my HOME). However, my nightmare has finally receded. I finished the 4th chapter of the novel analysis and answered my Chemistry question. Maybe I will just drop off the "revision part" (mentioned before) for this holiday week. I ought to have a life too!It took me 1 A4 paper to answer that!

Process of a gas substance converts to liquid and then continues to the solid state involves the process of cooling. How the process happens? Explain your answer in detail. You may include any diagrams if possible. (15 marks)

OK, I should sleep now. Good night.
PS: It took me one A4 page to answer that!

Miracle in Process

I just finished 7 Additional Mathematics questions in my revision book. Now I am just hoping for one thing. To pass my bloody test! No A1, A2, B3, B4, C5, C6. Only D7 or E8. Hope it will not be a moronic G9!!!!!!!!! I don't know WHY that I can understand so much in class but when it comes to paperwork, I flunk!!!!! So, a new label is born after this title: Miracle in process.

It personally means... hoping against hope.

HAPPY CHINESE NIU YEAR (EVE)

The Moos are here! Sorry for disappearing for such a long period, people. As you already know, I am seriously busy with my studies! Really BUSY with so many things, especially revision! My target for everything is only to get C6. If anything goes lower than that... Hmmm....

I just bought my beginner guitar in NS Piano House with the casing and plectrum and tuning all for only RM120. But the tuning sucks though. I had to tuned every single string back! But that uncle is a really talented guy! He can play pianos and guitars! I asked him how long it took for him to master the skills? "It's a long time ago. I forgot, but a few years I suppose," with a smile.

It's all because of Joel for exposing me to guitar last year and Taylor Swift most popular song - Tim McGraw. The way she sings it... ROCKS! Ha,ha. Actually the post title has nothing got to do with the contents. It's just a matter of speech to wish you readers a Chinese New Year.

My left hand which is used for fretting hurts so much but, as people say, no pain no gain, right?! My strumming is getting better than yesterday and I can hold the strings better than yesterday too. I hope I can master this skill as soon as possible! Can't wait to play it like a pro (like Joel)!

Here's my checklist for the week:
BIOLOGY
(re-revise everything that I'd read for the past few days)
CHEMISTRY
ACCOUNTS
MALAY LANGUAGE
(chapter-by-chapter analysis of Bukit Kepong)
PHYSICS
(the teacher isn't really helping, so I have to prepare myself for the worst!)
HISTORY
(have to read up to Tamadun Mesir Purba. Yup, pharaohs...)

---
PS: Happy Chinese New Year to everyone!!!

Abruptness

So nowadays I realize that I can't write as good as last year or the year before (already). Maybe it is because of my... unresting events in my life as a Form 4 student. No time to study, no time to finish homework, no time for this, no time for that. The conclusion is that I HAVE NO TIME FOR EVERYTHING!

Today Mum and Sis came down to visit me but I was sleeping half of the day. I didn't know what time they both arrived too! Whatever it is, I hope that we will make use of our time here before everything ends again for today.

To-do List:
1. Buy text books
2. Have a delightful lunch and dinner outside
3. Try to finish Chapter 2 of BUKIT KEPONG
4. Buy a mahjong paper for HISTORY PROJECT PRESENTATION (mine is about Mesopotamia)
5. Make ice cream with Mum
6. Make rock buns for experiments before giving these to others. [Shhh... It's a secret]

Now we're going for lunch. Chiao.

Dear (avid) readers of my blog,
Nowadays as it is my "honeymoon" year you all suppose has been a terrible living hell. Staying behind everyday, rushing on things everyday. All these has already become a part of my life as a student in my school. That is why people are wondering,

"is this fellow updating his blog? I am getting bored of waiting."

Sorry I make you wait and sorry again for making you bored of it. But the best part is that I will update my happenings weekly (maybe on Saturdays or Sundays), so then. Don't forget to check that out!

Today had been a really WONDERFUL and SPLENDID day of my life! Cross Country competition was held today and guess what?

NO STUDIES AT ALL!!!!!!!

I am so happy that I can finally do my own revision peacefully and chat with people in MSN and SLEEP (not to forget). OH! I forgot to share a terrific news with all of you!

Today onwards I will become sub-commander in RCS boys' team and did I tell you that Kamales is my commander? I think so.

These are the events of the day:
1. Cross Country - Medic.
2. NO studies - NO homework.
3. We floated to 4 Tanjung (most of us) just to chit-chat with our friends there and take a nap.
4. Everyone went home, except for the RCS members for foot drill practice.

I just hope that I will be able to train the newbies well tomorrow.

2. Prepare yourself for Oral Test.
3. Memorize your texts in your school bus.
4. Bring your texts all over the place and memorize it!
5. Send impuses, "Tomorrow is going to be a very good day!"
6. Yes, I can make it tomorrow!

Bonne nuit

5 Days Terror

5 days people. 5 days of the first week! I am already so dull. I barely have a life now and I can't blog as often anymore because I barely have time to do so. Sorry, folks. A little tit bits from Tuesday to Friday, since I'd mentioned about Monday on my previous post.

TUESDAY-Long Hair Operation.
The teachers had caught more than 150 students with long hair and the Form 4 and 5 prefects had to stay in the hall to guard the ins and outs of the detainees. We only finished our duty at 1.25pm.

WEDNESDAY-La Vie de Un Quatrième Ixorién
Dullards! We are assigned for our first Oral Test next Monday about The Necklace.

THURSDAY-We Finally Got Our Books
from Text Books Loan Scheme after our Standard Taking before recess. That Standard Taking thingy made my body covered with itchy RASHES (Because I was er... lying on the grass? BUT HOW COULD IT BE POSSIBLE WHEN I WEAR MY CLOTHES!!!)

FRIDAY-End of Week 1
In our BM class, we were assigned to do our own Chapter-by-chapter analysis on our novel - BUKIT KEPONG. Then we had double Bio before we can go home. But I stayed behind for my stupid foot drill practice!

GAWDELPUS!!!!!!!!

Thrown Away!

So, today's my first (very tiring, indeed!) day of schooling in 2009. (I had to stay behind for Orientation as mentioned before.) I registered my name with my 7 other Malay friends - kind of coincidential, actually. Amir A was surprisingly elected as the class monitor! HEY THERE!!! After that we did the mundane normal thing on the first day of school - copy my class' time table and I myself don't really like the situation there too. Too messed-up for me. Wait! There's more!!!

We did nothing more than that today, seriously. (At least, before the brainwashing session.) Now, the bombs are about to shatter the pieces of Hiroshima and Nagasaki again! Our school's councellor, Mr. Low Seng Kar (he has a really good singing voice!!!) called out the 5 top PMR students in 4 Tanjung after recess and that includes me. Ahmad was cursing really badly that time. Oh, fuck! Fuck! Fuck!!! No way I am leaving 4 Tanjung!!!

We got brainwashed in the Counselling Room by him and Miss Chang and so... the five of us decided to leave our hermitage and shift to 4 Ixora. (Physics' lab!) Now, I will be extra busy to manage my time for Biology AND Account Principles. Biology in the class and Accounts under Miss Zalelah's tuition - 3 hours from 3pm on Fridays, RM40 monthly. So, the very best luck I will need from you from now on! Send me your vibes, people! Merci.

PS: The very first day, the very first work - Additional Mathematics, Functions: Relations. Oh, Dieu! Can you believe that I am reading my Additional Mathematics reference books now???
G O D!!!!!!!

Slipped Thread

Sorry, readers. I forgot to tell you the case yet. It's called pelvic bone fracture. Ngan Seok Zhong will be the victim and Kamales will be my partner. Seok Zhong's legs are quite short and it's a bit hard for us to wrap him up. So, best of luck to us and good night.

Hectic-isms

Bonsoir, gents! (I usually write at night, unless there are some OMG issues then I will write during daytime.)

Sorry for such stupid adjective combination up there because I can't find any other brainy Ixorian words. Oops, I didn't mean to use the sensitive "I" word there. Argh! WHATEVER! Just leave it. That ain't the topic I am going to discuss here.

Anne and I agreed to update each other via MSN on our new posts in our blogs. So, what I knew from her blog was... pretty embarrassing. Especially when your parent said that you can't clean your own room!

That is life. That's all I can say. I like to use this quote that I created myself, but a stern warning is to be out.

NEVER EVER mention my name for any uses. If you do want to mention about my existence anywhere, just mention about "a blog writer" will do.

"Life is full of ironies and clichés. Sometimes we can't afford to find the answer even until we die. All we do is sit back, reminisce and we simply laugh. Yet, no answers to be discovered. It is also like solving a jigsaw puzzle (my favourite brain-game), you might sometimes lose a piece of it which is never to be found again and because of that one single piece, you can't complete your puzzle." - I think I have my Principal's tone already. Oops!

Actually the quote is very flexible. Ha, ha. My keywords are LIFE, IRONIES, CLICHÉS, REMINISCE and JIGSAW PUZZLE. That's all and that's my quote. Simple and flexible. I hope I didn't make it lame! Please don't nod your heads to my sentence!!!

So, the hectics finally are explained!

#1
Anne is pissed with her life because she can't take her license just because her father didn't agree to that.

#2
I support Anne's mum at all cost when she said she will see "a very successful lawyer takes a bus to work everyday just because her 'daddy' didn't allow her to drive!" That was pretty funny when I read it.

#3
Blogspot issue. I asked a friend of mine to vote for my posts (so she did) and it turned out that nothing was there. Let me explain this because I don't want anyone here to say that I vote my own posts for my fame! The post "Right On Time" was actually 1 FUNNY not 3!

1st time when she voted, it was blank after I refreshed my page. So she did for the 2nd time and it turned out to be the same. So I voted one more time for her and when I refreshed, it turned out to be 3 instead of one! I think I will trust my brain more than mechanics from here after.

Right On Time

Right on time I am about to blog about my new hair cut, here comes Chin Chin with her important call regarding something which... I will tell you later. That's the spirit! Keep scrolling down! OK, so I got my new hair cut from the same mini-salon in Rasah Jaya Condominium with the same price. Go and read my Friendster blog if you care. I don't like repeating myself so many times.

Taa-daa!

Here you go. Short, simple, presentable, smart, reliable and most importantly cheap! I'm off with this topic now.

So, Chin Chin called me while I was thinking on what should I blog (after I read Anne's blog and I asked her to read mine just to let me know about my flaws but she commended that I am cute instead - with the hair gel head, she said. Oh, well. Thank you very much!). She was asking me wether can I stay behind for the Orientation Day - Promoting RCS to the Form One students later on 5th January's afternoon. Do you need to ask, Chin?

So, I agreed. Our case will be fractured leg bones but she hasn't decided which of 4 leg bones fractures (that we'd only learn, yet the most complicated one to be done) to be promoting. To make things simple for the "victim" and the "rescuer". She appointed Kamales to be my partner and she also asked me to bring along my RCS Uniform for later wear that afternoon.

C'est tout. Bonne nuit et salut.

PS: You might notice some French in there. Well, that's because I am learning French now. I need to speak some to fortify ma français langue.

Salut et Salut

Confusing title isn't it? Ha,ha. OK, it means Goodbye and Hello (informal) in French (I can make it a little formal by saying "Au revoir et Bonjour", but what's the difference?) and I'd put a conclusion in my previous blog and also told them that I shifted here.

Funny thing about me is that... It's like... Um... I dunno. I'm different from who I am from what you expect me to be by reading my posts. I don't know how to tell you how different am I. Maybe I need some advises from professional psychiatrist about this matter.

I thought I changed, in the sense that being more matured. But today when I went to school, I felt as if I am being intimidated and at the same time being liked? I dunno, you see! That is the whole point I am talking about! I don't know why am I different from others! Whatever it is, I hope it doesn't bother me too much or less, I'll hinder my mental growth.

So, tomorrow's our school's REGISTRATION DAY and I am (unfortunately) being dragged into it because I am a prefect (today we had a meeting about this from 9am to 11am. Went there by cab. Good man. He charged me only RM1. Came home by Chin Chin's car. Her mum was willing to send me home). No, no, no! I am not bitching about my prefect's duty because it is what I would've wanted. I chose to be one! I am just a little tired about how things involve me. I really need to pick my words properly so that I won't offend people out there. But I can say, it's a blessing in disguise. Always it is.

For this "home room" day, all the new Mewahans are going to study in my school, making friends with me and I hope not making enemies with them! There are approximately 35 of us. The prefects I mean. Sorry for such font sizes. I just explored the button, so... I guess it doesn't bring no harm to us right? Even the parents are asked to come only at 8am and the counters close at noon, we have to go the an hour earlier and go home an hour later. But the best thing is that the lunch's provided!

I am amazed by how the 7 committee members of my school's prefectship. They all are able to conduct every single meeting without teachers' supervisions. What power they hold unto till all of us respect them so much? Maybe I should re-read Andrew's blog for explanation. The most interesting post, I can say. Hey, thank me, dude! I am making you famous all around the world!!!
Man, I should go now. It's 2.52pm and I still haven't cut my hair to look more presentable tomorrow. Look at my hair! GAWD!!!

This was with hair gel...

...and this wasn't. I look terrible!

(Un)Happy New Year!

Hello, people around the world. Here I am again, standing upright rooting my name in Blogspot after I'd successfully written 30 over posts in my previous blog in Friendster. As Anne said in her Personal Message in her MSN account - New Year means new blog. I am also thinking of writing another blog which ended up here. OK, I better cut off the introduction crap off before you feel bored reading only until the 5th line.

Back to my (first) post title here, many people think New Year is a grand celebration to so-called welcome the another year - 2009 and bygone the previous year - 2008. I hope they will keep such enthusiastic spirit for their National Days, as for my country, it's 31st of August. It's good to know, you see? That is why I named my blog "An Empty Vial". As you can see, an empty vial is... an empty vial, right? Wrong. If you can see it in another POV (Point of View), an empty vial is somehow somewhat like a sponge. Sponge absorbs liquid to fill itself with it while empty vial waits to be filled with liquid and solid. Damn, I'm still introducing!!!

Sorry for the off-topic just now. I couldn't really concentrate on ONE thing when I blog. OK! Actually, New Year's Day is indeed a happy day, or else, it won't be called a HAPPY New Year. And there is a story why for me, my New Year is an unhappy one. New year, new troubles, new conflicts! I realize, as we grow older, we have more conflicts to solve and more troubles to overcome. That is why older people have more white hairs nowadays!

Here are my conflicts and my sub-conflicts:

1. Academics
Bahasa Malaysia [Malay Language]
Prinsip Akaun [Accounts Principles]
Sejarah [History]
Pendidikan Moral [Moral Studies]
English Language
Modern Mathematics
Additional Mathematics
Physics
Chemistry

2. PBSM [Red Crescent Society]
Kawad Platun Lelaki [Boys' platoon foot drill]
Team Test
Committee member

3. Forum competition

4. Debates competition [in Malay Language]

5. Choral Speaking, hopefully as the conductor again.

6. Drama

7. SLAD [Anti-drugs Scheme], as a committee member, petty business.

8. Emerald march past competition, until March/April, also a petty thing.

Since I am joining Volleyball Club next year, I will have to busy about stay-behind issues

9. Volleyball Club, for exercising purposes.

Now, d'you know why am I so unhappy? But I am also pretty damn excited to meet my friends again.

To:

Dylan and Shekinah (never forget Gina, both of you!), Jia Juan (C'est la vie, mon ami!), Ahmad (Gomenasai, Nihon-go mada yoku hanasemasen.) Kamales, Keevin, Kamini, Charumathy, Manisha, Jason, Gopinath and all other Mewahans that I forgot to mention, I miss you guys so very much! But, don't worry, we will meet each other (and ending up in canteen gossiping) 3 more days!

I hope this year will bring more happiness than stress during Form 3, especially the Ixorians! Good luck and stay the way who you are now. Don't change. Never change.
